ATLAS Brazil visits Dortmund

A day full of exchange and experiences

Last Friday, we welcomed a delegation of 77 people from Brazil to ATLAS in Dortmund. This group, consisting of employees from our two plants in Bom Retiro and Lajeado, as well as students from the high school in Teutonia, were warmly welcomed to our headquarters in Dortmund.

Technology and sustainability take centre stage
The visit was not just about intercultural exchange, but also about professional development. A comprehensive production tour was on the agenda, during which the guests were able to familiarise themselves with the latest manufacturing technologies and production processes. There was a particular focus on digitalisation, the use of AI-supported technology in production and the topics of sustainability and efficient waste disposal systems.

Cultural exchange at Signal Iduna Park
In addition to the professional exchange, the cultural component was not neglected. The delegation visited Signal Iduna Park, the stadium of Borussia Dortmund (BVB), where an exclusive tour of the stadium was a source of excitement. Our guests were able to enjoy an exclusive tour of the stadium and experience first-hand the passion for football that unites Dortmund and Brazil in equal measure.

This visit marks another milestone in the cooperation between ATLAS Germany and Brazil. The connection is strengthened by the continuous exchange of knowledge, technologies and cultural values, which benefits both sides both economically and culturally.
