FOUNDRY & WELDING BOOTS
FOR THE METAL WORKING INDUSTRY
ACCORDING TO EN ISO 20349: 2017
The standard EN ISO 20349:2017 sets extended requirements for the features of foundry and welding boots. The footwear must withstand various test procedures in connection with exposure to extreme heat and contact with molten metal. This applies in particular to the quality of the upper and the heat resistance of the sole complex. In an extensive casting test with TÜV Rhineland, ATLAS successfully passed all requirements of EN ISO 20349:2017 for foundry and welding boots.
Footwear to protect against thermal risks and molten metal splash.
