GORE-TEX® TECHNOLOGIE

A GORE-TEX® membrane has 1.4 billion microscopically small pores. These pores are 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but larger than a molecule of water vapour. This means that the GORE-TEX® membrane is absolutely waterproof from the outside. Perspiration, however, in the form of water vapour can still escape unhindered from the inside.
